Ancestry Records How To Read Census Records On Ancestry.com?

How to read Census Records on Ancestry.com? - ancestry records

I researched my family for some time and have met a number of hurdles. Could be found I think I could have more if I say a way to live in what city or town of my ancestors in the census I found. I can say that the community but not the city. All ideas, like the city who have lived in May to find? Any help would be great. I want to tell my post some decent reviews.

Thanks in advance!

  1. Many previous population censuses are the only community because the city has not yet been appointed.

At the top of the list of current census enumeration district and the sheet / page number. The main areas in the upper part of the census shows the city, county, city and county, postal services in that State.

When searching census records .... If you find your family in a particular community, go back ten years in the census in the same region and look that way. You can enter the name of the community, when you reach the search for a specific census year.

  2. In the late Censu - 1930 at least - when the family is in a city or county, is written to the street on the left side, and the address of each family is one of the first columns.

  3. Go to the homepage of your local library and see if they subscribe to HeritageQuest. If they are not accessible from home with your library card. Here you can see the census. If the information you need.

  5. ) In many cases (according to the census year, our neighborhood, and e-mail survey in the upper part of the page. If it is a rural area not a city or town have been.
There are always guaranteed to be something anyway. I have family that I personally know the exact location of their country, and some neighbors on the same page. Living in a "city", which I know has been shown on the other side of the province, bringing the original census is in error.
One idea is to go to www.rootsweb.com mailing lists and subscribe to the mailing group for the county. Post your question, because there are often people who have a thorough knowledge areas and other records, including those that can not be online.
